Chimelong International Circus, 2023
For Chimelong International Circus we created the visual content that surrounds the opening performance, working in CGI and motion with an art-led approach. Each Act was designed for a wide, panoramic stage, with the tree canopy running across the top of the frame and a central archway as the focal point. Each world has its own palette, from a green forest in daylight to cold blues to a saturated orange, and the transitions between them let ice and flames meet in the same space. On site, the content sits within the physical scenography, alongside the water curtain, the sparks and the performers. The result is a stage that shifts from one atmosphere to the next as the show unfolds. Our role was content creation for the opening act, in 2022.
